After the practice training, experts also had a discussion on the integration and development of high-standard bases, the improvement of planting technology, fruit picking, sales online and offline, and product packaging. They also explained the precautions for the prevention and control of citrus disease. Thus, fruit farmers could learn practical planting technology at home and help improve the quality and efficiency of the industry. 

 

In order to improve the agricultural technology this year, Zixing City established training and cooperation relations with Hunan Agricultural University, Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Zixing Vocational School and other scientific research institutes.

 

 

It introduced scientific and technological talents, and successively sent 226 technicians to the production line of agricultural enterprises, professional cooperatives, family farms, vegetable bases and farms to guide agricultural production and complete six “field classes” such as policy publicity, technical training, and pest control, benefiting more than 300 fruit farmers.

 

Meanwhile, it carried out online training, guidance, and Q&A to provide farmers with technical service of spring sowing by means of radio, television, telephone, Wechat, and some other apps. Up to now, more than 10,000 farmers have received the pre-job technical training. 

 

Nowadays, science and technology have become new engines for agricultural modernization, industrialization and formalization of Zixing City.
